Young patients

As a family practice we care for our younger patients from the Ealing and Hanwell area.

It is never too early to take your child to a dentist and we advise parents to bring their child for regular checks-ups. This allows us to keep an eye on how the teeth are developing and check for signs of decay. It also enables us to get to know the child and show them going to the dentist is nothing to be feared.

Prevention is better than cure and it’s important that children appreciate the benefits of regular brushing and the harmful effects of sugary food and drinks. Visiting the hygienist can help reinforce these messages and they can often treat early tooth decay with fluoride treatments and fissure sealants.

For older children who may develop crowded teeth we can recommend and refer to the orthodontic practices in the area.

Many children will take part in sports where a mouth guard is required by the school – we are able to supply customized gumshields in range of colours and designs.

A well-fitted mouthpiece will protect the teeth from injury while allowing you to breathe easily and providing maximum comfort.

If you play a contact sport, like rugby, you can't afford not to wear one.
