Dr. Laurence Gilford BDS

Laurence graduated from the University Hospital of Wales Dental School in 1973. He has been in general practice in Ealing since 1975. Over the years, he has attended many postgraduate courses and seminars to keep abreast with the latest developments. He has a particular interest in non-invasive cosmetic dentistry, advanced tooth whitening, and the links between gum disease and general health. He is a member of the Alpha Omega International Lecture Fraternity.

Laurence is married with two daughters. He is a keen cyclist and has competed in international amateur races in France and Italy, he enjoys tennis, music, literature and travel.

Dr. Nick Simon BDS

Nick graduated as a Dentist in 1989 from the Royal London Hospital. His career progressed and he has spent the last 14 years in Private Practice, many of them serving the Ealing community. Having taken the opportunity to join The Ealing Dental Practice he brings with him his gentle caring manner and his expertise in advanced cosmetic dental techniques. Nick shares with the rest of the practice a keen interest in preventive dentistry and to promote treatments that safeguard long term dental and general health. In addition to being committed to excellence in all things dental, Nick welcomes and is pleased to see our child patients.

Nick is committed to furthering his skills he can offer his patients and is a member of several dental organisations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Association of Dental Implants, the British Dental Health Foundation, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

Nick is married with 2 sons and lives in North West London.

Dr. Indy Rai BDS

We would like to welcome Dr Indy Rai to the practice.

Indy qualified from the University Of Wales College Of Medicine, School of Dentistry in 1995. Over the 16 years of his career he has pursued an interest in aspects of advanced and cosmetic dentistry having taken many postgraduate courses both in Europe and the USA. He has cared for patients exclusively in the private sector for the last ten years. Indy is a director of Enlighten Research Labs the technology leader in professional teeth whitening and The Ealing Dental Practice’s preferred whitening method. He has undertaken extensive research and has practical experience in all whitening treatments and is therefore well able to guide our patients to their best individual solution. He will be offering really convenient appointment times including a late evening and Saturday morning.

He is currently undertaking a post graduate course in the surgical placement of implants.

Indy is an Ealing local resident, married with two young children at school in Ealing. Outside of his career he is a keen runner and has participated in a number of Marathons.

Jackie Twomey

Jackie has been a hygienist at the practice since April 1996 after qualifying from Kings College Dental Hospital London. Other qualifications include Dental surgery assistant and a certificate in Oral Health Education. Jackie has a particular interest in links between gum disease and general health

Jackie is a keen supporter of London Irish rugby and enjoys reading, theatre and cinema outings.

Moya Nelson

Moya practised at Ealing Dental for many years as a hygienist joining Laurence directly after graduating from Guys Dental Hospital in 1984, she will be well known to many of our patients. Having taking time out with her two children, we are now delighted to welcome her back to the Practice. Moya has a deep involvement in her patients' welfare and ongoing Dental health

Moya is an enthusiastic supporter of Arsenal attending all the home games with her family.

Cathy Carey (Practice Manager), Kay Stewart (Receptionist) & Anita Dadak (Receptionist)

Cathy, Kay and Anita have between them worked at the practice for the past 22 years, and are the first point of contact for the patient. Cathy and Kay are also experienced Dental Nurses. All our reception staff has a wealth of experience to assist you and will be pleased to answer any questions you may have with regards to your dental procedures as well as administration.
